Living beautifully with interior design means making your house a home not in the ordinary way but in a way that is visually appealing, matches your character, and is good for you. Properly planning the layout, nice and comfy furniture, light control for the right atmosphere, and finally personalizing through wall decorating, material and accessory choices are all involved. The end product is a space that is full of life, soft, and very important which implies that your house is not a sterile place for display but an extension of you and your family.
Finding the right location for learning is equally important and IVS School of Design provides an environment where creativity develops along with reason. IVS School of Design as a topnotch Institute of Interior Design trains its students through the Interior Design Course and immersive Interior Architecture and Design College curriculum to become real-world professionals with the right amount of skills, exposure, and confidence. Students at IVS School of Art and Design do not only learn about interiors—they also learn about the role of design in human experience, thus being empowered to create spaces that are not only inspirational, functional, and long-lasting but also meet the needs of the users.
Here students are taught various important aspect to be considered while designing:_
Outlay and planning of a space Maximize utilization: The layout you create should be such that it supports easy movement and also marks different areas within a single room. Flow should get the priority: Tight and natural transitions between the spaces should happen, which would then be an added comfort for daily chores and social gatherings.
Furniture and substances Style and coziness in balance: Take the furniture that would be very good at giving visual approval yet at the same time make you feel cozy, representing your style, and providing the practicality of the use.
Get the use of materials: Use materials such as iron, wood, stone, linen, and some more in layers in order to bring density and richness into a room. Make pieces strategic: Choose furniture that carries a dual purpose, for example, multi-functional pieces, or objects that go with the theme of art, to increase both the function and the form of the space.
Lighting and atmosphere Your lighting should be layered: Make the combination of ambient, task, and accent light to create a sense of depth and warmth and that would transform the mood of the room from a day to day basis. Natural light access is the goal: Let the rays of the sun in and keep a constant source of artificial light nearby to ensure that the room does not lose its vigor and charm.
Personalization and final touches : It is permissible to add valuable items: Make your environment aware of your existence and at the same time show your story by mixing personal treasures of extreme importance like heirlooms, art, or photographs for instance throughout the house.
Color and decor Stick to the 60/40 rule quite strictly: As Room to do advises, the best way to cover the floor is to select one dominant color for 60% of the room and a complementary color for 40%, thus creating a balanced and harmonious palette. Give the room’s personality through decoration: Invite your unique colors, patterns, and personality that are only yours to come through wall décor, textiles, and rugs.
The art of living beautifully is first and foremost an endeavor that is expressed through the physical environment, and at IVS School of Art and Design, we are convinced that the application of good design can make even the most secluded spaces silently rejoice in life. For the sake of a better future, we have trained designers with the rightful attitudes through our courses. Besides, these designers will be helping to make the world more beautiful by guiding people who inhabit or use the space towards the appropriate design that would suit them, being aware that design comes from the inside out and not the other way around. Our all-encompassing Interior Design Course and the dynamic Interior Architecture and Design College method make it possible for the students to experience first-hand how the combinations of colour, texture, light, and form can elevate the character of the place changing it from dull to stunning, hence producing the kind of homes that not only appeal to the eye but also the heart and soul.
